Remigration activists rally after m***ive Spanish border invasion

As Spain grappled with the aftermath of more than 50,000 illegal crossings into Ceuta in a matter of days, remigration activists gathered at the southern port of Algeciras to stage a protest the Spanish government was unwilling to hold itself. Rebel News reporter Alexa Lavoie and producer Efrain Flores Monsanto were there to cover the demonstration.

The demonstration was organized by Save Europe Action, a remigration activist group that received attention after Elon Musk shared footage of the Ceuta crossing online. Activists said their goal was to do what Spanish authorities had refused to do — protect and defend Spanish borders and the Spanish people.

A striking detail from the protest was Spanish national police reportedly demanding the identification of every protester at the rally, checking who was participating recording their details.

“Do they do that with the people who are crossing illegally into our country?” one activist asked Lavoie. “Obviously not. This would be discriminatory.”

Lavoie also spoke with Spanish activists about their view of Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, whose government has been widely criticized for weak border enforcement.

“I think lots of things about Pedro Sanchez and none of them good,” one man said, “because he’s the main politician that is harming my nation,” adding the Spanish PM “has committed treason to the Spanish people. He was looking out for himself and not for the people he was supposed to protect — and the proof is right here. The border doesn’t exist in Spain.”

Another activist said crossing in Ceuta, an exclave on the North African shores, had shattered years of carefully managed media narratives. 

“Lots of years of propaganda telling us it was refugees fleeing wars,” he said. “And I think everyone can see now that this is a great lie.” The man described the situation as an existential crisis for European nations, arguing that demographic statistics show a real possibility of longstanding countries disappearing within a generation if current trends continue.

“We have to be there till the end,” he said.

When asked how he responds to being labelled racist or extremist, he said his movement had simply stopped engaging with the labels. “They do not confront you with arguments,” he said. “They just call you those things.”
