Rebel News was in an Oshawa, Ont., courthouse last Monday to cover the latest chapter regarding the alleged illegal halal slaughterhouse operation in Bowmanville.
Moshin Bhuiyan, a former Conservative candidate, was recently outed for allegedly selling halal-slaughtered poultry to the general public without having the necessary licenses and approvals to permit such transactions.
That was the reported crime. Next came the coverup.
Instead of being fined or uttering a mea culpa, Bhuiyan claimed he was the victim of “Islamophobia”, a narrative that certain Liberal MPs and the trained seals in the mainstream media promoted without question.
But Bhuiyan is his own worst enemy when it comes to self-incrimination. While he claims his operation is merely a “hobby farm” and that the slaughtering of chickens and ducks is for his own family’s consumption, such is not the case. As the saying goes, “the Internet is forever”, and there are numerous social media postings that indicate Bhuiyan was slaughtering his birds to sell to the public.
One Facebook Marketplace ad reads: “I have whole fresh meat chickens and duck available for pick up. They should average around 5 per pound. Pick up is 3548 Middle Road, Bowmanville.”
Oops…
But it would seem that if one is caught illegally slaughtering animals and that person is a Muslim, this is not a crime but an example of Islamophobia. Indeed, last month, an “anti-Islamophobia” rally was held in Clarington due to the “harblockment” Bhuiyan was enduring. Sources tell us attendance was vetted and that it actually resembled a Liberal Party of Canada rally more than anything else. Then again, as Prime Minister Mark Carney will tell you, “Muslim values are Canadian values”…
Yet, despite the overwhelming evidence that Bhuiyan was indeed selling halal-slaughtered poultry to the public, he continues to play the victim card.
Which is why he was in an Oshawa courthouse last Monday. Bhuiyan was seeking a peace bond against John Mutton. Mutton is the former mayor of Clarington (which incorporates Bowmanville) and was one of the whistleblowers regarding Bhuiyan’s operation.
An allegedly illegal halal slaughterhouse operator is seeking a restraining order against John Mutton, the former Mayor of Clarington. The reason? The Muslim farmer is experiencing hurt feelings…

For his part, Mutton has no idea why Bhuiyan is seeking a peace bond against him. Mutton is adamant that he has never uttered threats against Bhuiyan. Rather, Mutton’s only so-called “crime” was outing Bhuiyan’s illegal operation.
As well, there is absolutely no evidence that Mutton acted in an illicit fashion against Bhuiyan. So, the question arises: is Bhuiyan seeking a peace bond simply due to… hurt feelings?
Speaking of a lack of evidence, thanks to Bhuiyan’s bungling, the court proceeding turned out to be a joke, reminiscent of the clblockic Three Stooges short, “Disorder in the Court.”
That’s because Bhuiyan failed to provide disclosure to both the crown and Mutton! He seemed to believe that merely filing an application for a court appearance was good enough. Perhaps he believes that our dominion is under sharia law as opposed to Canadian law.
The judge went to great lengths to educate Bhuiyan that an application is not disclosure and that disclosure is required before a trail can proceed. (As a sidenote, is it not spectacular that someone who once aspired to be a Member of Parliament has difficulty understanding basic court procedures? But never mind…)
So it was that Mohsin Bhuiyan was given an additional seven days to come up with disclosure. A new trial is scheduled for Sept. 28.
Now, there are two sides to every story, of course. And we would dearly love to hear from Bhuiyan. But he refuses to speak with independent media (golly, why would that be?). Rebel News has visited his farm for comment several times. We have even hand-delivered a list of questions to him. But it’s radio silence.
So it was that we lingered outside the court to scrum him last Monday. But after an hour pblocked by, Bhuiyan was a no-show. We were informed by a police officer at the court’s security checkpoint that Bhuiyan likely told law enforcement personnel that he feared for his safety and was therefore ***ed out an emergency exit. That’s right: apparently being asked impolite questions is considered to be a “safety” issue. Unbelievable.
In any event, we will be back in court on Sept. 28 – blockuming Bhuiyan actually gets his act together and, you know, provides disclosure in his pursuit of a peace bond against someone who apparently is not disturbing the peace in any fashion whatsoever…
