Editor’s note: This story will be updated throughout the remainder of the regular season.

With Saturday night’s incredible 22-16 comeback overtime victory over the Packers, the Bears (11-4) extended their lead atop the NFC North to a game-and-a-half over Green Bay (9-5-1) with two contests remaining.

The Bears would clinch the division by winning either of their final two games at San Francisco or at home versus Detroit. If they lose their last two contests, they would still capture the NFC North crown if the Packers drop one of their final two games versus Baltimore or at Minnesota and the Lions lose one of their next two games against Pittsburgh or at Minnesota.

The Bears can clinch a playoff berth Sunday if the Lions fall to the Steelers in Detroit.

The Bears (11-4) are currently the No. 2 seed in the NFC behind the Seahawks (12-3). Seattle closes the season at Carolina and at San Francisco.

If the Bears don’t win the division, they could still make the playoffs as a wild card. All three NFC wild cards likely will come from the NFC North and NFC West, meaning that six teams are competing for five spots (two division champions and three wild cards): the Bears (11-4), Packers (9-5-1) and Lions (8-6) in the North and the Seahawks (12-3), Rams (11-4) and 49ers (10-4) in the West.

The 49ers will visit the Colts Monday night, giving San Francisco a short week in advance of their home game against the Bears a week from Sunday night.
