Plus, in response to the failure to secure a deal, President Donald Trump is announcing a tariff hike on Canadian goods will take effect beginning in 2027.

And finally, Premier Doug Ford told Trump to “kiss (his) ***” during a radio interview following the breakdown of negotiations, calling on Canada to strike back at the U.S. and demanding Alberta and Saskatchewan make the Americans pay more for natural resources.
