Will installing air springs increase the weight ratings of a vehicle?

No. Adding air springs will not change the weight ratings (GAWR, GCWR and/or GVWR) of a vehicle. Exceeding the GVWR is dangerous.

Is it necessary to keep air in the air springs at all time and how much pressure will they need?

Maintain the minimum 5 PSI air pressure at all times to keep the air spring in shape and ensure it moves throughout its travel without rubbing or wearing on itself

Will lifting the vehicle by the frame damage the air springs?

If it is necessary to lift the vehicle by the frame, first release the air pressure from the air springs. After servicing of the vehicle is complete, lower the vehicle to the ground and reinflate the air helper springs to the desired pressure.

REPLACE – This air helper spring kit is direct OEM replacement to Firestone Ride Rite W21-760-2609 which is suitable for 2019 – 2026 model Chevrolet Silverado / GMC Sierra 1500 pickup trucks with 2-wheel drive and 4-wheel drive. It fits High Country and Denali models as well.
INSTALLMENT – Bolt-on installation with no frame drilling required. You can easily install the air bag kit yourself. The brackets in the kit are No-Drill required. Since the kit comes with all bolts and nuts needed for the installation, you can attach the frames with them. The kit also has an installation manual including all the instructions step by step.
