This focus is about more than image; companies understand that trust and stability are essential for keeping customers and business partners, especially during political tension and public skepticism.
Sustainability is also a major priority, with 60.5% of companies investing in honest practices, transparency, and anti-corruption efforts, not just environmental measures.
Nearly 60% of firms emphasize the need for responsible leadership—leaders who act with integrity and guide teams through uncertainty. Communication is another key focus.
Over half of the companies are investing in clear messaging to employees and the public, helping manage risks and support reputation. Defining a clear company purpose is also important, with 54.3% of firms working to stand out in a crowded market.
Peruvian Firms Boost AI and Sustainability Investments
Investment data shows companies are putting more resources into communication and sustainability, up 2.1 and 9.5 percentage points from last year. Artificial intelligence is gaining ground, with investment rising from 30.9% in 2024 to 40.3% in 2025.
Most firms use AI to improve efficiency and train staff, though many are still early in adoption. The Peruvian economy is expected to grow about 2.9% in 2025, supported by steady private spending and a stable business environment.
Still, companies face challenges like slow private investment and the need for better infrastructure. Mining and agriculture attract foreign capital, but finding skilled workers in technology and AI remains difficult.
To attract talent, companies are offering remote work and simpler management structures. Peruvian firms are not chasing trends for appearances. Their focus on reputation, risk, and practical change reflects real business needs and a drive to stay strong in a shifting landscape.
