M9 News Journalist Nishant sat with Director Sekhar Kammula ahead of the release of his Kuberaa on the 20th of this month.

We asked the director why he chose to film without his Signature.

“Having Relatable characters and the characters that are relevant even after years. I make stories that move me. That is my Signature. As filmmakers, we evolve over the years. It is not about making Love Stories always,” Sekhar Kammula said.

“Pushpa 2 is the last such film I watched in the theater. It is a different skill to make such films, but my personal choice is that I don’t enjoy such films. Those euphoria-inducing films are pushing some films into the OTT Category,” Sekhar Kammula said.
