When A.I. = Artificial Ignorance
Chatgpt Strikes Again
In July 2023 I wrote an editorial about how I asked the A.l. program Chatgpt to show proof of homeopathy’s effectiveness. It answered that there was no evidence to support homeopathy, and that it was just placebo. It went on to quote specious studies that have since been debunked.
On their website, Chatgpt suggests that you can give them feedback to help improve the program. I therefore sent them links to all the up-to-date research supporting homeopathy. I included the Swiss report affirming homeopathy as well.
I also sent links to articles that debunked the specious studies from the Australian NHMRC, the UK Science and Technology Committee and the Shang study that had propagated lies about homeopathy.
On May 10, 2025, almost 2 years later, I asked Chatgpt the same question….., and once again they responded with the same untruthful, misleading and disparaging answers.
In a short time, people will come to trust A.I. as the consummate answer, the collective knowledge of any particular subject. We must not permit A.I. to institutionalize those lies, now and for future generations. All of that will result in needless suffering.
Think of the people you know who don’t accept homeopathy, often friends and even family members. It’s so difficult to watch them be harmed by the conventional system, because they don’t know the truth about homeopathy.
We need all the homeopathic organizations and you, to contact Chatgpt and similar A. I. platforms and insist they update their programs to portray the accurate picture of homeopathy, that it is safe, economical and enormously effective.
