Saiyaara
Much before the film’s release, fans hailed Saiyaara as the unofficial third film in Mohit Suri’s hit romantic franchise Aashiqui. Saiyaara is not the official sequel to Aashiqui 2. Though it offers quite a similar plot – artists falling in love, their emotional turmoils, sacrifices and efforts they make for their selfless love.
The premise of Saiyaara is loosely based on the 2004 Korean film A Moment To Remember. Ahaan Panday is an aspiring musician and Aneet Padda is a shy writer. As they deal with their personal trauma, the artists fall in love and begin working towards the betterment of the other. Though impractical at many times, Saiyaara is an emotional treat full of p***ion. The perfect pick for those who love tragic love stories without a tragic ending.
