Sai Pallavi may now have to take the lead in promotions, bringing her authenticity and screen presence to the forefront.
Her strength has always been her emotional connect and the respect she commands for choosing meaningful stories. That reputation needs to be amplified beyond the South.
If Ek Din turns out to be good — and if audiences give it a chance — it could quietly win hearts. But the pressure is very real.
A lot rides on how her first Bollywood film lands, and whether Hindi audiences are ready to embrace her the way Telugu and Tamil fans already have.
In an ideal world, Ramayana — with its scale and visibility — should have been her Bollywood debut. But now, Ek Din must pave the way.
