Virat Karrna who made his debut with Pedha Kapu, is presently starring in his second flick Nagabandham. The actor underwent a remarkable transformation for his character in this epic fantasy by building a chiselled physique.
The film is being directed by Abhishek Nama, who has not only taken the helm but also penned a compelling and impactful script. Backing the project with full conviction is producer Kishore Annapureddy, who is sparing no expense in bringing the director’s vision to life. Despite Virat Karrna being a relative newcomer, the producer is mounting the film on a big canvas, placing his faith in the strength of the story.

Currently, the team is shooting a pivotal sequence along with a song. For this, Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple has been recreated in Hyderabad. Art director Ashok Kumar has reportedly constructed an elaborate set that is said to be an exact replica of the original temple in Kerala. Media personnel who visited the set were astonished by the detailing and authenticity of the design.
The song being filmed features Virat Karrna and a large group of dancers and is being choreographed by Bollywood’s Ganesh Master, known for his dynamic work in the Pushpa franchise. This particular sequence alone is reported to have incurred a m***ive cost of 10 Cr, reflecting the scale and ambition of the production.
