Rana Daggubati is presenting interesting content-driven low budget films encouraging new talents and their fresh perspective in Telugu Cinema. He is now ***ociated with Paruchuri Praveena, producer of C/O Kancherapalem and Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya, directorial debut Kothapallilo Okappudu.

The movie team have conducted press premiere three days prior to the release and everyone appreciated the film for its unique theme based on rural milieu. Many praised performances of Mahesh Chandra, Banerjee and Ravindra Vijay along with directorial brilliance of Praveena in handling a very rooted, raw and rustic film expertly for a debutant.

Praveena thanked press people for their genuine affection towards the film. She stated that she wanted to present a highly authentic take on how belief drives humans towards positive outcomes in their lives. While she stated that it is a satire, they have intended to keep it real, simple, relatable, and fun film dealing with slightly heavy themes.

Rana Daggubati stated that his Spirit Media is having a great golden run with such good films at the box office and he hoped Kothapallilo Okappudu to continue it. He confidently stated that rather than conducting a pre-release event, he wanted the content to speak for itself and stated that it would be new way of promoting such films.

He urged people to come to watch Kothapallilo Okappudu in theatres as it provides an endearing, heart-warming theatrical experience with its highly relatable characters. He remarked that while he is a city boy, he could connect with these characters in village and hence, brought it to people. The highly entertaining movie is releasing on 18th July, all over.
