This is the time when Tollywood must collectively work towards finding a set of solutions that would readily address the issue and wrestle the momentum back towards the theatres as this the lifeline for the film industry.

At a time when the number of audience coming to theatres itself is declining on a regular basis, Tollywood is still nonchalant enough to hike the ticket prices whenever there is the chance.

This issue doesn’t confined to any single film or anything as such but it exists at large. Several films that do not necessarily have big event spectacle aura are also going for hiked prices these days.

All this is going to do as consistently drive, the audience away from theatres.

At a time, when a single cinema ticket cost is higher than a monthly subscription for many leading OTT platforms, going for additional prices might not be the right choice for non-big event films.

It is a fact that both the Telugu states governments are lenient towards ticket prices but that doesn’t mean we run after it all the time.

This is pretty much or no, or never situation for Tollywood as if the prices are not regulated on priority, things could south rather quickly as a major chunk of audience could permanently move away from cinema theatre culture.
