Special Tribute To 106 & Park
The iconic music video countdown program 106 & Park will receive special recognition during the ceremony. It marks the 25th anniversary of that show, which helped define BET as the home for Black culture and has welcomed many legendary performers and guests over two and a half decades.
Former hosts AJ Calloway, Free Marie Wright, Julissa Bermudez, Keshia Chanté, Rocsi Diaz, and Terrence J are all slated to appear during the tribute, while Bow Wow, Amerie, B2K, Jim Jones, Mya and T.I. will perform.
Who Is Getting The BET Ultimate Icon Award?
The year’s biggest prize, the Ultimate Icon Award, will honor four Black entertainers who have made history with their success: singer Mariah Carey, actor and singer Jamie Foxx, gospel singer Kirk Franklin and rapper Snoop Dogg.
