Speaking at a press meet following the grand Telangana Gaddar Film Awards ceremony held on Saturday, he urged all members of the film industry to take such events seriously and attend them without fail.

Dil Raju expressed his happiness over how well the Gaddar Awards event turned out, sharing that it took nearly six months of hard work and planning.

He especially thanked Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for attending the event and staying for over two hours.

According to Dil Raju, the CM originally planned to spend only an hour, but upon his personal request, extended his visit and even handed out the awards himself—making the winners feel proud and honored.

Looking ahead, Dil Raju mentioned that the Andhra Pradesh government would soon be presenting its own film awards. He requested all actors, filmmakers, and technicians to treat these awards with the respect they deserve.

Even if they’re busy with shoots or out of town, he urged them to attend and accept the awards in person, calling it a responsibility toward both the government and the industry.

He concluded by saying he hopes everyone in the industry understands and supports this sentiment.

However, some believe Dil Raju’s words carried a deeper message. Was he hinting at Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s disappointment over the absence of some big stars at the event?

Top names like Chiranjeevi, Prabhas, NTR, Ram Charan, and Mahesh Babu were notably missing from the function. Though he didn’t name anyone directly, many feel that Dil Raju was subtly expressing concern over their absence.

His remarks, while diplomatic on the surface, could reflect a silent warning or veiled reprimand to stars who didn’t attend which suggest that when the government honors the industry, its biggest faces should show up — not just out of courtesy, but out of respect.
