Caltrans will continue its road improvement project on state routes in Hesperia and the San Bernardino Mountains.
Road work will be done from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Monday, June 9, through Friday, June 13, depending on weather conditions or availability of materials.
Caltrans will perform road improvements on State Route 138 and State Route 189 from June 9-13, in San Bernardino County
Slurry seal, traffic striping and pavement marker work will be completed in the following locations:

East and westbound SR-138 from Route 18 junction to Summit Valley Road towards Hesperia.

East and westbound SR-189 from Route 18 to Route 173.
One of two lanes will remain open, with alternating lane closures on the highways.
Commuters are reminded to reduce speed in and around the work zone and be advised that weather and/or other factors may affect the construction schedule.
