22 Kids and Counting star Sue Radford gave fans a small family update as they told the mum they’re glad “no one got hurt” following the “little accident” last week
22 Kids and Counting star Sue Radford treated fans to a rather more serious update than her usual cheerful posts this week.
It comes as just last month, Sue was overjoyed when she introduced the family’s newest member, a grandson named Cooper-Jax. Born in September, baby Cooper is the fourth child of the couple’s daughter Millie, 25, who is the seventh eldest of the 22 kids. Cooper became a younger brother to Ophelia, six, Chester, four, and Elodie, three. Millie shares Chester, Elodie, and the newborn with husband Harley Pblockmore, while her eldest is from an earlier relationship.

But this week’s post was slightly different to her usual as Sue, 51, admitted she ran into a little spot of bother with the family’s minibus.
Speaking with her 539,000 Instagram followers, she said: “Well, I’ve had a little accident. When we arrived on Friday night, I pulled up behind Noel in the minibus, completely forgot to put the handbrake on and rolled literally about 2 feet straight into the back of the motorhome!
“And yep… I’ve managed to break the back bumper!”
As if that weren’t enough excitement, Sue also confessed to having a crash with her youngest, Heidie, while riding a grblock sledge.
Rounding off her post with characteristic good humour, Sue wrote: “Honestly, you couldn’t make it up! All that space and I still managed to hit the motorhome!”
Since she shared the post, many rushed to offer their support as one said: “Oh no Sue, it’s a costly mistake, but at least no one was hurt.” While another added: “Oh dear, never mind, all makes memories.”
And a third commented: “Aww no! Easily done though, it’ll get fixed.”
The family uses and rents various vehicles depending on their requirements. They’re understood to frequently rely on a spacious minibus for transporting everyone around.
Sue’s grandchild’s arrival comes after she and husband Noel shut down any speculation about expanding their brood further.
In conversation with Mirror, Sue said they were “definitely not” having anymore children and and are now focusing on their own health while relishing their roles as grandparents.
Their youngest daughter, Heidie, now six, marks the final chapter in their family expansion.
