The itchiness comes from the embroidered flowers. The lack of stretch also makes it feel snug, which adds to the discomfort. Recommend choose the larger size or take a camisole or tank top underneath

Why does the top look much more sheer/transparent than it appears in your model photos?

The floral lace top is made of sheer mesh – the transparency is a design feature. In our photos, the model wears it with a camisole/slip underneath (not included)
