Cardi B Gives Birth to Baby Boy, Her 1st Child with Patriots’ Stefon Diggs

Stefon Diggs is hoping to help lead the New England Patriots to a win over the New York Jets on Thursday, but the wide receiver has already had a big week off the field.

His girlfriend, rapper Cardi B, gave birth to a baby boy this week, her rep confirmed to People’s Kayla Grant. Cardi B “is healthy and happy,” the rep added.

In an Instagram post, Cardi B wrote:

“My life has always been a combination of different chapters and different seasons,” she wrote. “My last chapter was the beginning of a new season. Starting over is never easy but it’s been so worth it! I brought new music and a new album to the world! A new baby into my world, and one more reason to be the best version of me, one more reason to love me more than anything else or anyone else so I can continue giving my babies the love and life they deserve.”

Cardi B revealed in September that she was expecting a child with Diggs, saying that she and Diggs are “very supportive of each other.” The child is Cardi B’s fourth and Diggs’ second.

The two were rumored to have been dating last year, and their relationship became public in May. Earlier this month, Cardi B was seen attending a Patriots game and was even sitting with team owner Robert Kraft.

Diggs is enjoying a solid bounce-back year after missing the majority of the 2024 campaign because of a torn ACL. The first-year Patriot has recorded 50 receptions for 554 yards and three touchdowns.

New England has had a somewhat surprising 8-2 start to the year, winning its last seven games and looking to make it eight against the Jets on Thursday.
